Dyson vacuum cleaners are expensive, but we’ve found the best Dyson deals and cheapest prices for you this August

Searching for the best Dyson deals can often be a time-consuming affair because Dyson is clearly the name to beat when it comes to vacuum cleaners, with a reputation for light, cordless sticks, superior suction and high-quality design.

Dyson vacuum cleaners cost a premium compared to other brands on the market. That being said though, they’re well worth the investment. Dyson has nine different vacuum cleaner models and we’ve searched the web to find you the best prices on eight of them this month.

Below we’ve covered Dyson’s entire lineup, from the popular cordless V series through to its handheld Trigger duster and corded models. This page will be regularly updated with the best deals on Dyson vacuums as and when they pop up online. When there isn’t a deal from a reputable seller available, we’ll list the best current price instead.

The best Dyson deals available this August

1. Dyson Cyclone V10 Absolute (RRP £450; now £400)

Another iteration of the fabulous Dyson Cyclone V10, the Absolute is pretty much identical to the Animal, except that it excels at cleaning on harder surfaces (thanks to the Soft Roller Cleaner Head attachment).

Dyson Cyclone V10 Absolute Specs – Corded or Cordless: Cordless; Weight: 2.6kg; Capacity: 0.67L; Run time: 60 minutes

2. Dyson Cyclone V10 Animal (RRP £400; now £349)

With more battery life, a bigger dust container and more power, this is one of Dyson’s finest cordless vacuum cleaners. We liked it so much we gave it five stars in our review. What’s more, with currently over £50 off, now is the perfect time to pick this vacuum up. Hurry though, this deal won’t last long!

If you’re a fan of fancy attachments, for an extra £50 you can get the V10 Animal Extra, which comes with a quick-release mattress tool and a quick-release up-top adaptor.

Dyson Cyclone V10 Animal Specs – Corded or Cordless: Cordless; Weight: 2.58kg; Capacity: 0.76L; Run time: 60 minutes

3. Dyson V8 Animal (RRP £349; now £299)

The Dyson V8 Animal is the best value iteration of the V8 and a great, cheaper alternative to the V11. What we particularly liked when we reviewed it, is the vacuum cleaner’s manoeuvrability and the amount of suction power you get for the price.

Dyson V8 Animal Specs – Corded or Cordless: Cordless; Weight: 2.6kg; Capacity: 0.54L; Run time: 40 minutes

4. Dyson V15 Detect Absolute (Free next day delivery)

This vacuum is the latest in Dyson’s V series, and it comes with all the latest technology; it detects which floor you’re cleaning and automatically adjusts, and it’s got an LCD screen that tells you its operating mode and battery life. There’s also a handy dust-spotting laser which is very futuristic, but it works. In our full review, we said it was “the best cordless vacuum you can buy right now”. Even though it’s pricey at £599, you can get it delivered in a flash this August when you buy it from Currys – just enter the code “DYSV15FNDD” at checkout.

5. Dyson V11 Torque Drive (£549)

This high-tech vacuum cleaner automatically monitors its own performance in real-time and gives updates on its LCD screen. With convenient point and shoot bin emptying, you won’t even have to get your hands dirty. Its fade-free power lasts up to 60 minutes, and its digital motor with three power modes will get your floors clean in no time at all.

6. Dyson V11 Animal (£499)

The V11 Animal is much like the V11 Absolute, but slightly cheaper because it has fewer attachments. It remains an outstanding vacuum cleaner, even if it doesn’t include the Absolute’s “Auto Cleaning” mode.

Dyson V11 Animal Specs – Corded or Cordless: Cordless; Weight: 3.05kg; Capacity: 0.76L; Run time: 60 minutes

Buy now from John Lewis

7. Dyson V7 Trigger (£199)

The dinky V7 Trigger is best suited for handheld tasks, such as cleaning sofas and car interiors. It’s very portable, but its suction power is less than other Dyson models. Still, it does a great job at picking up crumbs and pet hair.

Dyson V7 Trigger Specs – Corded or Cordless: Cordless; Weight: 1.38kg; Capacity: 0.4L; Run time: 30 minutes

8. Dyson Small Ball Allergy Upright (£199)

This no-fuss vacuum cleaner won’t have you waiting around for a full charge. For an upright hoover, it’s lightweight enough to easily carry up the stairs and has a larger capacity than lighter handheld Dysons. And for this price, you really can’t go wrong – especially if you’ve got asthma or allergies because it’s even approved by the Allergy Standards Ltd.

Dyson Small Ball Allergy Upright Specs – Corded or Cordless: Corded; Weight: 6.9kg; Capacity: 1.2L

9. Dyson V7 Absolute (£299)

While the V11 Absolute is undoubtedly a better vacuum cleaner, the V7 Absolute gets our recommendation if you’re looking for the best value for money. Its battery life and suction aren’t as great, but it has a similar bin capacity as the Dyson V11, is just as lightweight and stores dirt just as neatly in compact spaces.
